Shadow of Memories (Shadow of Destiny in North America) is an adventure game. There are no action elements in the game, and the protagonist has no health bar. Each chapter has a time limit in which Eike must find a way to prevent the murderer from killing him. This is accomplished mainly through time travel to various hours, days, years and even centuries. Obtaining an important item, talking to a specific character or taking another action in the past prevents Eike from being killed. Energy units are required for time travel, which can be found by exploring the city. If Eike fails to reach the goal within the given time and prevent his murder, the chapter must be started again.During the course of the game, the player has several options to change the future in different ways. Due to the time travel function, many objectives can be reached in non-linear ways, which branches the story and ultimately leads to eight different endings, of which six can be reached during the first playthrough and two additional ones are unlocked after reaching the other six.

The game awards points based on the purity of your singing, i.e. how well you manage to hold the note. It doesn't matter if you change octave halfway through the song or which words you sing (there is no word recognition), so your singing is scored on how well you manage to hit the right note at the right time.Exclusive songsFranceCaroline Loeb – C'est la ouateCorynne Charby – Flipper-BouleDavid et Jonathan – Ils sont venus pour tes vacancesElsa – T'en va pasF. Electronic Arts' first game based on the 'The Lord of the Rings' films is an action game with classic beat'em-up gameplay. Despite its title, it covers events from both the first and second films of the trilogy.Players who choose to control Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli must fight against the evil forces of the Dark Lord Sauron to protect the Ring of Power and restore peace to Middle-earth.The player character moves through the levels and fights hordes of Orcs, Goblins and other creatures with various attack and parry moves. The more varied the attacks are and the less the player is hit, the more points are awarded for each kill. At the end of each level, kill points are collected, which can be used to acquire new abilities. Most of these are new attack moves that are triggered by various key combinations. Others increase health or improve the strength or speed of existing attacks. Each of the three characters has unique upgrades and moves. In several levels there are boss battles with figures such as the Guardian of Moria or Lurtz, the leader of the Uruk-hai. Each boss requires a unique strategy to defeat. Most of the combat scenes from the films have been converted into levels for the game: from the confrontation with the Ringwraiths atop the Weathertop and the battle in the Mines of Moria from the first film to battles with Warg riders and other enemies in the plains of Rohan from the second film. The game culminates in the defence of Helm's Deep, though the game's depiction of the battle differs significantly from that in the film.Between levels, cutscenes tell the story. These scenes combine real film footage with footage rendered using the game engine. The game offers plenty of bonus content, some of which must be unlocked by completing missions or reaching certain levels with characters. Featured are interviews with filmmakers and actors (who also provide voices for the game) as well as various making-of features.

Nick Kang is a young Chinese-American detective who was suspended from the Los Angeles Police Department for his extreme police methods and his ability to cause enormous property damage. However, Wanda Parks, head of the E.O.D. (Elite Operations Division), needs Nick's help with a case involving attacks on various venues in the Chinatown district. Nick is initially reluctant to help, preferring vigilante life and focusing on avenging his father's death. Eventually, however, he agrees to carry out the investigation, on one condition: he has to do it his way.True Crime: Streets of LA is a free-roaming driving and action game whose concept is reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto III. The game's structure is mission-based; most missions are driven by the story and begin after a cutscene that sets them in motion. If a mission fails, the player can still continue playing the chapter and carry out subsequent missions; in some cases, this leads to branching paths and optional missions. However, to complete the entire chapter, the player must eventually successfully finish all the main missions.Nick can hijack any car on the street (usually with little or no consequence) and drive freely through the 240 square miles of Los Angeles. Nick is able to fire his weapon while driving; in an open vehicle, it is possible to aim anywhere. The player can also choose to explore the city on foot. Nick is frequently contacted by other police officers and informed about various street crimes. He can then fight the perpetrators, arrest them, knock them unconscious or kill them to solve these crimes.Gameplay during missions is divided into third-person shooting, combat and (less frequently) stealth sequences. All of this usually takes place in relatively small, confined environments. In shooting sequences, Nick battles waves of enemies appearing in various locations. Nick has to react quickly, move, duck or dive (with a "bullet time" effect) to dodge enemy attacks. Only a limited amount of painkillers is available at such stages.During combat sequences, Nick uses his martial arts techniques to defeat enemies in melee combat. Nick can strike, kick, grapple and throw enemies. The player can perform combos by pressing different button combinations in sequence. It is also possible to pick up primitive melee weapons lying around or take them from enemies. Both the shooting and combat phases feature destructible environments. In stealth missions, Nick typically moves through enemy territory without attracting the enemies' attention. The mission fails if an enemy is not silently dealt with, or shortly after they spot Nick. The player has the option of killing or knocking out enemies; the latter earns the protagonist "good cop" points. Conversely, Nick receives "bad cop" points for killing innocents or surrendered criminals. Depending on Nick's rating in these categories, the plot branches out in later chapters, leading to different endings.
