Game: Mario & Luigi Partners in Time - Nintendo DS (with original packaging, no manual)Console: Nintendo DS (DS)Language: GermanCondition: Used / Good condition

In this game, based on the 2008 DreamWorks film of the same name, the player takes on the role of the panda Po. Po finds out that the greatest Kung Fu masters have been captured by the evil Tai Lung. Po is overweight, loves eating dumplings and is quite slow and clumsy at Kung Fu. That's why he's shocked when he's asked to save them. Although some elements have been changed, the game's theme is largely identical to the film and linear in design.Po's journey involves finding the five Kung Fu masters, learning a new skill each one teaches him, and then continuing the search for Tai Lung. This game is a 3rd-person side-scroller with frequent use of the touchscreen, based largely on the mechanics and engine of the DS version of Spider-Man 3.Po's movements are controlled via the D-pad, while attacks are performed by swiping the stylus across the touchscreen. These are also used to throw objects and perform the special moves learned. Most of the gameplay consists of melee combat with enemies and navigating levels using the mini-map on the top screen. New moves are learned gradually, and there are also small puzzle elements where Po has to interact with the environment to progress.

Dr. Eggman wants to change his ways and open a huge new theme park that floats rather strangely above the planet. Sonic, wary of his arch-nemesis, visits the theme park and discovers the true story behind the villainy: the park exists thanks to an alien race called Wisps, powerful creatures that Dr. Eggman has kidnapped. Sonic agrees to free them from the amusement park, but he won't be able to do it without the Wisps' help.As a return to classic Sonic platforming, Sonic Colors uses the full width of both Nintendo DS screens to deliver a 2D side-scrolling adventure with colourful dimensions. Sonic can draw on the Wisps' unique abilities, such as drilling deep underground or shooting high into the air, to help him search for the Chaos Emeralds and thwart Dr. Eggman's dangerous plan. Sonic has six Wisps at his disposal, though their effect only lasts for a limited time. Four of them, White, Blue, Yellow and Orange, resemble the Wisps seen in the handheld game's big brother, Sonic Colors for the Nintendo Wii. Two further Wisps, Red (turns Sonic into a deadly fireball) and Velvet (lets Sonic float in the air and suck up nearby rings and items), are exclusive to the DS platform.A multiplayer mode is included, letting two players compete against each other across multiple levels to be the first to reach the final goal, as well as a time attack mode.

An entry in the Metroid Prime series that began on the GameCube. This game is set between Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Interstellar bounty hunter Samus Aran is sent by the Galactic Federation to the distant Alimbic Cluster to investigate a message claiming that the source of ultimate power lies in this desolate part of the galaxy, once home to an advanced civilisation.Samus isn't alone, though. Other races have also heard this mysterious message. Six other bounty hunters, each with unique traits, will do whatever it takes, each for their own reasons, to get their hands on the Alimbic relics.Single-player mode focuses more on shooting than other Metroid games, but also offers classic Metroid-style puzzles. Unlike previous games, Samus has all her moves from the start, but still has to search for weapons. In this mode, the player can also encounter other bounty hunters. The multiplayer mode is similar to games like Unreal Tournament or Quake. Players can choose from any hunter defeated in single-player mode. There are seven modes in total, including: Nodes, Survival, Bounty, Prime Hunter, Battle, Capture, and Defender. Each mode has its own unique rules. There's a large number of arenas that can be played over local Wi-Fi or the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. When using friend codes, voice chat is enabled before and after matches.

Popular characters from the DBZ universe find themselves back in battle, but this time with cards as the weapon of choice. Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Densetsu follows the same action and story as the series, but the fighting is played out through card-based battles, adding a new layer of strategy never before seen in a DBZ game. With eight different card types, players can fight their way through a story mode focused on either Gohan, Piccolo, Goku, or a secret fourth character. Harukanaru Densetsu

In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, players take on the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice and hunt down hidden Jedi across the galaxy. The game closely follows the story of the console versions, but features some differences, such as different characters in vehicles and Wookiees who become enemies instead of allies. The game maps various combat functions to the touchscreen and allows players to drag the stylus across multiple movements to create stronger combination attacks. The game also features two mini-games that occur during the story campaign. In "Feel the Force", players drag spheres into a vortex, which then results in mighty deeds on screen. In "Saber Lock", players compete to hold their lightsabre perpendicular to their opponent's lightsabre to gain the upper hand in boss battles. The game also features two multiplayer modes in which players compete against each other in arena battles.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move! is the fourth game in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series. A series of puzzle games featuring classic Mario characters, in which the player controls Mario dolls called Mini Marios to complete levels, collect coins and medals, and escape enemies and hazards. As in the previous game – Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! – the player cannot directly control the Minis with the stylus once they're activated. Instead, the player must manipulate the environment to create a path for them.

In The Sims 2: Apartment Pets, you live in your Uncle Bill’s flat. He’s given you permission to change all his furniture, so now you can spend your money customising your new home. But that’s not all you’ll be doing. From time to time your neighbours will drop off one of their pets for you, or the caretaker will give you an animal found in the dumpster. It’s up to you to train them. The game features typical Sims gameplay. You need to satisfy your Sim’s daily needs, reduced here to four: Hunger, Comfort, Social and Bladder. You can also create your own character and change the flat’s interior by upgrading items. You can also work at the local pet spa.You also need to look after the pets entrusted to you. If you have an animal, you need to feed it, train it, bathe it, dress it, and once it’s ready for a new life, it’s taken from you so you can look after a new pet.

Someone has jumbled up all the Disney stories in the vaults! Help Jiminy Cricket and Tinker Bell set the stories straight and make sure they get a happy ending. Sort stories from popular Disney franchises, including The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Nightmare Before Christmas, to name just a few.Meteos: Disney Magic is a Disney take on Meteos for the Nintendo DS. Use your stylus to move the blocks up and down (or, new to this version, also from left to right) to rearrange them. As soon as three or more matching blocks line up horizontally or vertically, the blocks and everything above them shoot towards the top of the container before starting to settle back down. Blast them all off the screen to clear them. Special power-ups occasionally appear, such as the rocket block, which lets you blast a large number of blocks into the air with a single button press, and the swap block, which replaces every block of one colour with another. There are various game modes in Meteos: Disney Magic. You can choose Story mode, which takes you through a series of Disney stories to play. Depending on the difficulty level, you can pick a path and unlock new stories to play in other modes. In Challenge mode, you can play through any previously unlocked story, either in Simple mode (play until you lose) or Time Attack. In Versus CPU, you fight against an opponent, either in Survival mode (play until one player loses) or Time mode, where you must clear as many blocks as possible within a limited time. You can also play against your friends with up to four players in single-cart or multi-cart multiplayer mode.

Donkey Kong and his extended family are on holiday on Sun Sun Island. Suddenly, they spot a huge banana on the peak of the island's mountain. DK sets off for the mountain's summit to find out what's happening up there...DK: Jungle Climber is an indirect sequel to the GBA game DK: King of Swing. As in that game, players control DK by climbing with their left and right hands. The L button has DK grab with his left hand, and the R button has him grab with his right hand. When holding onto an object with one hand, DK swings either clockwise or counter-clockwise around it, while pressing L and R simultaneously stops him in place. DK can also attack enemies by pressing the A button, and can even fly around once he's collected enough gems scattered throughout the levels.New to the game is the ability to have Diddy accompany DK, just as he does in Donkey Kong Country. With Diddy by your side, pressing A twice lets you fling him high into the air to collect items you can't otherwise reach, and even access areas DK simply can't get to. Diddy can also use special power-ups, such as a giant hammer that smashes anything it touches.

When the Dark Master attacked the sacred temple, the Fire Guardian Ignitus could only save one of the dragon eggs from destruction. This egg found its way to a family of dragonflies, who raised the newly hatched dragon alongside their own son, Sparx, as one of their own. The dragon Spyro soon discovered his heritage and set off with Sparx on a journey of self-discovery and, ultimately, to save the world from the Dark Master's forces. The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning is a top-down action game based on the console game of the same name. Playing as Spyro, players fight their way through hordes of Cynder's minions and monsters. Spyro can perform melee attacks with Y and build combos with repeated hits. He also learns breath attacks based on the elements of fire, ice, electricity and earth. He can use his primary breath attack or a stronger secondary breath attack that consumes more energy. Some enemies can't actually be damaged by either of these attacks; in such situations, the player has to tap the touchscreen to attack them. The DS version of the game also features "Power Crystal Puzzles", which must be solved at key points in the game in order to progress. The aim of these puzzles is to place a series of mirrors on the playing field to guide a beam of light around obstacles to its target. Some mirrors split the beam of light into two beams, while prisms split the light into other colours.

This game features 42 (mostly) well-known games, including 18 card games, 12 board games, 4 “variety” games, 5 “action” games and 3 single-player games; however, some of the games must be unlocked before you can play them. Each game has options that create further ways to play. All games are played using the DS touchscreen.Examples of the card games featured include Memory, Blackjack, Rummy and two poker variants (Five Card Draw and Texas Hold’Em); the board games include Draughts, Backgammon, Chess and Ludo. There are also DS interpretations of Bowling, Darts and Billiards (9-Ball).For single-player games, there are three options: Free Play (play any unlocked game as you like), Stamp Mode (play through the games in order, collecting a stamp per game) and Mission Mode (work through a series of missions based on the games). Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt is the demo version of the regular Nintendo DS title Metroid Prime: Hunters. As a demo, this version of the game does not contain the full adventure, but instead offers three training-style missions designed to familiarise consumers with the Nintendo DS early in the system's lifecycle. The game is based on the Metroid Prime titles for GameCube and Wii developed by Retro Studios. As such, it is played from a first-person perspective in the regular game, and from a third-person perspective when Samus switches to Morph Ball mode. Five options are available in the options menu to control the game, and the player has the option of entering their name to record high scores.Since the game is little more than a Nintendo DS tech demo, features and gameplay are rather sparse, although there are four game modes. The following three single-player options are available to the player in the training menu:Regulator: This mode is closest to the regular Metroid Prime Hunters game. The player ventures through a stage, solves a few light puzzles, collects a few items and fights a generic boss. This mode has a ten-minute time limit.Survivor: Essentially a survival mode in which the player takes on gradual waves of enemies until eventually being defeated.Morph Ball: In Morph Ball mode, the player basically winds their way through a timed maze while continuing to run through symbols on the ground.Multiplayer: Exactly what it sounds like. A multiplayer mode for two to four people that uses the DS's Wi-Fi features. There are options for creating new multiplayer games or joining existing ones. This title was not released for retail sale and was published solely for the purpose of demonstrating Metroid Prime: Hunters as well as the Nintendo DS system.

The handheld editions of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (the LEGO version of the CGI-animated TV series of the same name from 2008) play similarly to their home console cousins, while still keeping the family-friendly content. The games offer 13 levels (based on the first and second seasons of the TV series), which mostly consist of the platform puzzle-solving layout familiar from earlier LEGO video game efforts (while defeating a variety of droids and other familiar enemies along the way). Most levels also take place in flight mode, where players must complete several missions, such as defeating an army of vulture droids. Each level is divided into three acts (which can then be played separately in Free Play mode).Unlike previous LEGO Star Wars games, Jedi characters now have the ability to climb walls, trace shapes, and even use the Jedi Force Jump with their lightsabers to reach greater heights. While characters such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano form the main characters in Story Mode, further characters can later be unlocked to reveal hidden Minikit pieces and red bricks in Free Play. These versions also include several mini-games, including Snowball Fight (in which you must defeat several characters from the Clone Wars universe with snowballs) and Droid Volleyball (a volleyball game featuring R2-D2 and R3-S6), for which a red brick is required to unlock them.

As a man living in the island cities of Sorgele, air pirates threaten the population. They shot down your parents, and you want to avenge their death and kill the pirate responsible. This game is an action flight simulator with a special twist – it also includes RPG elements. For every enemy aircraft shot down, you receive experience points and gold, unlocking better parts and aircraft you can buy. Occasionally, you'll receive distress calls from other aircraft under attack during flight. If you manage to save them, you can meet them at the nearest airfield for a reward. If the action gets too intense, there's an autopilot mode that lets you select targets and waypoints via the touchscreen. There's also a 4-player multicard mode in which you can compete against friends.
