DK: Jungle Climber - DE

Donkey Kong and his extended family are on holiday on Sun Sun Island. Suddenly, they spot a huge banana on the peak of the island's mountain. DK sets off for the mountain's summit to find out what's happening up there...

DK: Jungle Climber is an indirect sequel to the GBA game DK: King of Swing. As in that game, players control DK by climbing with their left and right hands. The L button has DK grab with his left hand, and the R button has him grab with his right hand. When holding onto an object with one hand, DK swings either clockwise or counter-clockwise around it, while pressing L and R simultaneously stops him in place. DK can also attack enemies by pressing the A button, and can even fly around once he's collected enough gems scattered throughout the levels.

New to the game is the ability to have Diddy accompany DK, just as he does in Donkey Kong Country. With Diddy by your side, pressing A twice lets you fling him high into the air to collect items you can't otherwise reach, and even access areas DK simply can't get to. Diddy can also use special power-ups, such as a giant hammer that smashes anything it touches.
