In The Sims 2: Apartment Pets, you live in your Uncle Bill’s flat. He’s given you permission to change all his furniture, so now you can spend your money customising your new home. But that’s not all you’ll be doing. From time to time your neighbours will drop off one of their pets for you, or the caretaker will give you an animal found in the dumpster. It’s up to you to train them.

The game features typical Sims gameplay. You need to satisfy your Sim’s daily needs, reduced here to four: Hunger, Comfort, Social and Bladder. You can also create your own character and change the flat’s interior by upgrading items. You can also work at the local pet spa.

You also need to look after the pets entrusted to you. If you have an animal, you need to feed it, train it, bathe it, dress it, and once it’s ready for a new life, it’s taken from you so you can look after a new pet.
