Iolcos is a small island in the Aegean. Protected by those who worship Zeus, it is an idyllic place with nothing to worry about. At least until the wedding day of King Jason and his future queen Alcmene, to which many dignitaries from all over the world travelled – including Jason's long-time friend Heracles. But instead of celebrating the event with them, the Moriens had other plans, stormed the palace and killed Alcmene during the ceremony. Now Jason is furious and seeks revenge. But the journey is long and in the end he must face a dark prophecy. The player steps into Jason's sandals, watches his back and controls him in traditional action-adventure fashion, similar to games like Rune (only without jumping), as he roams the land, talks to the inhabitants and always keeps their wishes in sight of his main goal. Of course, with Jason it's not just about walking and talking. He has many enemies who want his death, but three different types of weapons (swords, clubs and spears) as well as his trusty shield ensure he can defend himself. Jason can quickly switch between all weapons at the push of a button and thus perform powerful combos by combining the normal attack with the stronger, more brutal executioner's move. Some of them have special abilities, such as striking down all surrounding enemies activated by a two-button combination. But Jason also has many friends. Besides Heracles, other mythical heroes accompany him on his journey and help him in battle. When Jason is near them, they also gain strength and unleash powerful special abilities. If a companion dies, Jason can revive them, and if Jason is too badly damaged, he just needs to get out of the line of fire for a few seconds to regenerate.Jason also does not rely solely on his muscles, but is additionally supported by four gods – Apollo, Athena, Ares and Hermes. Each god gives Jason access to a different skill tree with many different types of buffs and abilities waiting to be unlocked. This happens in two ways: one way to gain the favour of the gods is to talk to people and select the appropriate answers for the god whose favour the player seeks. But at the same time, Jason accomplishes more or less automatically acts during his journey such as killing 35 people (Manslayer IV), which he can then credit to a god of his choice. Once a certain favour amount has been reached, an aspect point is available for distribution in the skill tree of that particular god.

The 2008 edition of the long-running EA FIFA football series improves the gameplay and features of previous instalments. The next-gen version marks the series' second regular outing on Xbox 360 and its first on PS3. Compared to the previous year, the game now includes the full list of teams and leagues, just like other versions: 620 licensed teams, 30 national leagues, plus the Hyundai A-League (Australia), the Czech Gambrinus Liga (Czech Republic) and the FAI Premier Division (Ireland). As usual, the leagues have been updated with new teams, and prominent football nations (England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) have multiple divisions. There are also 23 clubs from around the world that aren't represented in specific leagues.Gameplay changes include a revamped shot simulation, factoring in position, defence, speed, jumping ability and direction. This continues the dynamic shot meter from the previous version, where positioning and a power meter provide powerful long-distance shots. There's also more focus on through balls, smoother animations and skill moves, revamped crowd, celebration and stadium animations, and a redesigned tackling system. Alongside the familiar modes, “Be A Pro” is introduced, where players take control of a single, fixed player on the pitch. This isn't a career mode, but mainly an alternative way to play the games. Online multiplayer options let players form a team of independently controlled players, with 10 human-controlled players at once in a single match. The camera is adjusted for this mode to keep both the respective player and the action in focus at all times. There are also the recurring interactive online leagues with full national leagues against other players on EA's servers. The game also features tools for setting up independent multiplayer matches and organising tournaments.FIFA Soccer 08 features licensed music tracks from around the world. Brazilian player Ronaldinho is the face of this version, and was replaced by prominent national players only for certain localised versions, particularly the European countries.

FIFA 13 on PlayStation 2 does not have the same features as other console versions; it still uses the FIFA 07 engine and features new commentary from Andy Townsend (Clive Tyldesley's commentary remains the same as in FIFA 07). The only new updates are the latest transfers for each club and updated kits.Game modes include Kick Off (a simple friendly match), Be a Pro/Be a Keeper mode where you can play as an individual footballer or goalkeeper, and Career mode where you can be a manager, player/manager, or simply a player on a team. In Achievement mode you must win trophies/scenarios to unlock Fan Shop points (in the Fan Shop you can unlock new stadiums, teams, footballs and alternate kits). There are also regular Season and Tournament modes as well as a Practice mode.

The Sims 3, like its predecessors, is a real-time simulation game in which the player controls the life of one or more people in a family, including their work life and social activities. To do this, the player creates one or more characters at the start of the game on the character creation screen, which has been further expanded since The Sims 2. In addition to more choices regarding appearance, clothing, colours and so on, the player also selects five personality traits from a set of 63, sorted into the four groups “Mental”, “Physical”, “Social” and “Lifestyle”, as well as a lifetime wish. The personality traits influence how the Sim reacts to every event in the game. The “Workaholic” trait, for example, means the Sim enjoys going to work and allows them to use a computer at home to schedule extra hours. The lifetime wish, on the other hand, is similar to regular wishes, but requires a lot of work to achieve. While fulfilling wishes can be as simple as ordering a pizza, a player’s lifetime wish to make their Sim the CEO of a major company won’t happen overnight. As a trade-off, fulfilling a lifetime wish grants the player a very large amount of lifetime happiness points, unlike regular wishes. These lifetime happiness points are used to purchase numerous forms of relief, including the ability to make the Sim immune to hunger. This allows the player to focus less on meeting a Sim’s basic needs and more on improving their skills and building relationships with neighbours, colleagues and other people in town. The six needs themselves are the same as before, including fun, hygiene and hunger.Unlike its predecessors, the game is not limited to a Sim’s own property, with loading times in between when travelling to other locations, such as family holiday destinations. Instead, The Sims 3 now simulates an entire town in which the player’s Sim can move around freely and do as they please, including working and socialising, but also buying groceries or books and attending classes to further improve their personal skills. However, not every building can be seen from the inside. While the gym works like a normal house, with the option to remove the walls and look inside, the Sim simply enters other locations, including the workplace, the bookshop and the hospital, and disappears until their business there is done. The only influence the player can have in the case of the workplace is how their Sim should do their job. Should they work through their lunch break, befriend the boss, or chat with their colleagues, and so on? All of this affects both their happiness and their work performance, and once their work performance reaches a certain level, they get promoted, which comes with a higher salary and sometimes different working hours. During their visits, the Sim can also collect rocks, gems, metals, insects, butterflies and seeds to use in their garden as decoration or jewellery. If they get really bored, they can even go fishing at one of the lakes or rivers. With the money a Sim earns at the start of and throughout the game, they either buy a pre-built lot or build/expand their own house from scratch, including all the interior design. This time, items can even be placed at a 45° angle. The console versions introduce Karma Powers, which give players god-like powers to influence their Sims’ lives for better or worse.

Madden NFL 08 focuses on "Weapons" in play events and gives players another way to create a dream season for themselves alone or in multiplayer competitions. The "Weapons" concept returns, and players can now locate dangerous players by reading weekly scouting reports, viewing player introductions and using trigger buttons before they lock in on the field. In total there are 24 different "Weapons", including Big Hitter, defensive linemen, running backs and catch receivers. Each "Weapon" has a counter-weapon that the player must uncover to eliminate a potentially destructive opponent. By completing mini-games in "Franchise" or "Owner" mode, players can change the attributes for each team member. On the field there are a number of events, including hurdles, player celebrations and hot defensive routes. When an opponent prepares to reach the ball carrier's legs, players can stumble over them and avoid a fall. After the carrier has jumped over their opponent, they can head to the end zone for a touchdown and a celebration animation. Players can choose from 60 different signature moves, including Chad Johnson's "River Dance", Rex Grossman's "Gator Chomp" and Dante Hall's "X". Game: Call Of Duty Black Ops - XBox (with original packaging + manual) Console: Microsoft Xbox 360 Language: German Condition: Used / good condition Call of Duty: Black Ops is the seventh instalment of the Call of Duty FPS franchise, set during the Cold War, putting the player in the role of various special forces soldiers carrying out covert, top-secret operations colloquially known as "Black Ops" - the kind that governments deny any knowledge of. As with previous Call of Duty games, the player switches between different characters operating worldwide, including in Vietnam, Russia, Cuba and Laos. The two main characters are the soldier Alex Mason and CIA agent Jason Hudson, members of the Black Ops group (Studies and Observations Group, SOG), who are tasked with investigating and handling Nova-6, an experimental Soviet chemical weapon.

Game: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - Xbox 360 (with original packaging + manual) Console: Microsoft Xbox 360 Language: German Condition: Used / Good condition PES 2008 updates the clubs and players for the 2007/2008 season, this time also including some clubs never featured before. The gameplay has been updated so that goalkeepers aren't able to catch every ball easily. Players stumble over each other, slip and try to keep their balance. They can simulate fouls and hope not to get caught by the referee, and so on. This time, the English league has imaginary emblems for unlicensed clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and others. Some other clubs still have the correct insignia. However, their player names and statistics are correct. The same doesn't apply to a large part of the national selection, which has players with correct statistics but shortened names and generalised faces.
