Donkey Kong [Arcade Classics Series] - NES - EN

Donkey Kong 3 was released in arcades in 1983 and is the third entry in the "Donkey Kong" arcade game series, in which the format is more of an action-shooter than a platformer. In the role of Stanley, the pest controller, the player finds himself beneath Donkey Kong, who has taken over a multi-storey greenhouse. Stanley's goal is to remove Donkey Kong from the greenhouse, but the big ape is not willing to go without a fight. Donkey Kong agitates two beehives in his vicinity to unleash a swarm of angry Buzzbees, Beespies and destructive Queen Bees on Stanley. These insects, along with caterpillars crawling down nearby vines, want to destroy the flowers under Stanley. Donkey Kong also fires projectiles himself to stop Stanley's attacks. Stanley must jump between levels and deploy his insect spray to drive away the insects and send Donkey Kong to the next area of the greenhouse. Once Stanley pushes Donkey Kong high enough, a can of Super Bugspray becomes available, which allows for a larger shot radius and sends Donkey Kong up the vines faster. Once Donkey Kong is pushed through all three levels of the greenhouse, he ends up with a beehive on his head, and the levels start over.
