Snake Rattle n Roll - NES - EN

For the two snakes Rattle and Roll, it's a race to the moon! Play alone or simultaneously with a friend to outdo and eat your opponent – then weigh yourself on the scale and head to the exit! Snake, Rattle 'n Roll is an isometric 3D platformer. The goal of each level is to eat as many Nibbley Pibblies (round creatures in various colours) as possible to make your snake heavy. Once it's heavy enough, you must stand on the scale in the level. If you're heavy enough, the door opens and you can head to the exit. Like many platform games of the time, Snake, Rattle 'n Roll is incredibly difficult. Enemies include Jaws, a fanged monster that kills you if you stay in the water too long, and Bigfoots, which stomp around everywhere and can only be defeated with multiple tongue strikes. Then there are the many types of Nibblings, such as Pibblesplats, which hop around and splash in puddles, Pibbleboings, which are spring-loaded and jump incredibly high, and Pibblewings, which fly high and out of reach. The two-player mode offers both a cooperative and competitive experience: while you both try to eat more Nibblings than your opponent, your weights are counted when you stand on the scale simultaneously, and you can leave the level faster.
