Astyanax - NES - EN

You are Astyanax, a sixteen-year-old boy who has the same dream every night: a princess calling for help. One afternoon, you are summoned by Cutie, a goblin, into the world of Remnia to rescue the kingdom's princess. You are the chosen one, mentioned in the prophecies! Astyanax is a side-scrolling platformer action game set in a fantasy world. You must save the kingdom from the evil horde of Blackhorn. Along the way, you find power-ups that make you stronger and improve your weapon. You can also unleash magical attacks that hit all enemies on the screen. Three spells are available: Explosion (fireball in all directions), Lightning (powerful lightning strike) and Blind (freeze all enemies on the screen). The weapon upgrades that the player can find also determine the power of the spells and how many magic points they consume. As a successor to the arcade game The Astyanax, this version features completely redesigned levels, enemies and a new story.
