Metal Gear Rising Revengeance - New & Sealed - DE

METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE is another milestone in the MEGAL GEAR series and offers the player action-packed gameplay. The title is being developed jointly by the two outstanding studios Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames, with the aim of giving the player an extraordinary gaming experience made up of a mix of pure action and epic storytelling that fits seamlessly into the METAL GEAR universe. The main character in the game is Raiden, who suffered severe traumatic experiences as a child soldier during his childhood. Now he is a mix of human and cybernetic ninja, equipped with a high-frequency blade and a will for revenge!

In the near future, cyborg technology is increasingly seen as normal in society. Three years have passed since the collapse of the Patriots system, and yet peace does not really seem to have returned. The spread of cyborg technology is causing conflict and instability between those who use the technology and those who are denied it. In addition, large PMCs (Private Military Companies) that were controlled and supported by the Patriots have collapsed and are now striving to become larger, unscrupulous criminal organisations. These rogue PMCs are using cyborg technology to enforce their will and power.

As a member of the peacekeeping PMC "Maverick Security", Raiden strives for peace and protects and saves lives. However, once the world turns into a battlefield once again, there is no way around Raiden changing his ideology and facing the enemy.

• The latest title in the METAL GEAR series offers action-packed gameplay with Raiden as the main character, who raises his high-frequency blade against anyone who stands in the way of his revenge-fuelled path

• New game design and the start of a new METAL GEAR experience: with MGR, Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames deliver a fast and fluid gaming experience based on sword combat with the katana. All of this takes place within the epic METAL GEAR universe.

• An epic tale with the classic story elements of the METAL GEAR saga: MGR takes place four years after METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS, and the world is at war. Crimes committed by cyborgs are on the rise, and terrorism is increasingly gaining the upper hand, threatening society. The main character Raiden and his far-reaching story are the pivot of the new game. In METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE, Raiden is haunted by his turbulent past, and his hopes for a more peaceful life change abruptly after a mission to protect an African prime minister ends tragically.
