Yakuza 4 - Boxed - PS3

Yakuza 4 introduces three new characters to the Yakuza series: Shun Akiyama, Taiga Saejima and Masayoshi Tanimura. Each character has his own story, which is linked to the overall events, and in combat each controls similarly to Kiryu, albeit with his own simplified moveset and personal flourishes: Akiyama has several moves involving taunts, Saejima can use his immense strength to lift heavy objects and people, and Tanimura can counter attacks while blocking, as well as convert a combo into a HEAT action.

Although the game mainly takes place in the fictional Tokyo district of Kamurocho, the area has been expanded somewhat with newly accessible rooftops, an underground shopping centre, an underground car park and a sewer system. As in previous Yakuza games, side stories and mini-games can be found by roaming the streets and entering shops. Hostess clubs and a massage parlour also return, having been absent from the western release of Yakuza 3. The only content cut from the western release of Yakuza 4 is the arcade game Answer x Answer and the title song "Butterfly City".
