Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll - Boxed - PS3

Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll is a prequel to Zill O'll and depicts the events that led to Balor's downfall. Unlike its predecessor, it is an action role-playing game. The player controls a group of three characters - Areus himself, the warrior Selene from the vampire-like Darkenith tribe, and Dagda from the Boldan giant race. The player can only directly control one character at a time, but it is possible to switch between them instantly and in this way perform combo attacks. The three can also perform a powerful attack together when certain conditions are met. Combat environments are destructible and spells have a physical effect on the entire area, not just the characters.

As in the previous game, there are sub-quests in the town guilds that the player can tackle in a different order. However, the character affinity system is not present, and the player can neither create their own character nor choose between different starting scenarios.
