Super Mario Bros 2 - NES - EN

This version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is completely different from its Japanese original. It comes from the West and is actually a version of Yume Kōjō: Dokidoki Panic with a different story and different protagonists as Mario and his friends. One night, Mario has a strange dream in which he opens a door to another world filled with even stranger creatures and lands than those in his last adventure against Bowser. Surprisingly, the next day Mario, Luigi, Toad and the Princess encounter a cave that leads to the world from Mario's dream. Subcon, the land of dreams, is under an evil curse thanks to Wart, and so Mario and the gang must save the day. New creatures to defeat and plenty of evil surprises await them. Choose one of four characters that differ in speed and jumping power, and make your way through 7 levels filled with puzzles, boss battles, bonus coins, the ever-helpful Mushroom and the unstoppable Starman, as well as bombs and potions. Depending on how many coins you've collected after each level, you can use them in the bonus game to collect extra lives.
