Mega Man 2 - NES

After we defeated the six robots of Dr. Light in Mega Man, which had been reprogrammed by the evil Dr. Wily, the world seemed safe. But that was not the case. Dr. Wily has escaped from prison and is angrier than ever. This time he has created eight new Robot Masters to take over the world and destroy Mega Man! Is the world doomed? Mega Man 2 is the sequel to the NES game Mega Man. In this game, Metal Man, Air Man, Bubble Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Heat Man and Wood Man are Dr. Wily's eight award-winning creations sent out to conquer the world. When Mega Man defeats these bosses, he can steal their powers and use them for himself. Each Robot Master is weak against the weapon of another, and through experimentation Mega Man can gain the upper hand by using the weapon against which he is vulnerable. Further innovations in the game are the "E-Tank" - an item that allows Mega Man to refill his energy at any time - and a password system that allows the player to continue his game by recording which Robot Masters he has defeated and how many E-Tanks he possesses. Mega Man 2 also removed the point system from the original game.
