Gradius - NES - EN

The people of Gradius are in trouble. The amoeboid Bacterions have launched a massive attack on the planet, and it's up to you to fly into battle and save them. Along the way, you can upgrade your ship with Hyper Speed, Force Fields, Lasers, Missiles, Double Beam Cannons and much more to help you in combat. Gradius is a side-scrolling shooter. When you shoot certain enemies, they leave behind an energy capsule that you can collect to give your ship more power. In each level there are a variety of enemies trying to stop you, and at the end there is a large boss. The game is suitable for one or two players who take turns.
