Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - PS3

A new approach in the long-running Call of Duty series, with the original developers back at the helm. In Chapter 4, the player takes on the role of a British S.A.S. squad member on various missions in Europe, as well as a US Marine in the Middle East fighting against a fictional global terrorism figurehead.

Without breaking with the traditions of its legacy, Call of Duty 4 is a genuine military FPS, except that this time the player fights in a fictional setting and a modern world against modern enemies and weapons alike. There are various campaign-based missions that let the player take on the role of two different soldiers from two different types of military enforcement disciplines. As usual, multiplayer mode is also available with various game modes.

The missions in the single-player campaign include various tasks to complete and take the player through many twists as the story unfolds. A huge arsenal of weapons is available, offering a wide range of options for different playstyles. For the first time, the game doesn't run on an id Tech engine, but on a proprietary 3D engine based on id Tech standards, with physics, dynamic lighting, bloom and depth of field.
