Il vecchio design del sito ci ha accompagnati per 15 anni e ormai ha fatto il suo tempo. Era arrivato il momento di portare una ventata d'aria fresca in questa baracca impolverata. Con un'operazione lampo, il negozio online è stato trasferito su un nuovo server dal Sparkojote e il vecchio sito è stato trasformato in un nuovo blog.

Che cosa comporta il trasloco? Che cosa ti aspetta? Nel negozio online sono state attivate nuove funzioni: tra l'altro abbiamo integrato il pagamento con MasterCard e VISA. In futuro potrebbero seguirne altre, come AliPay, ApplePay, SamsungPay e compagnia.
Rielaboreremo a poco a poco i contenuti del vecchio sito e porteremo i temi interessanti sotto forma di articoli del blog. Non è che il vecchio sito abbia fatto il suo tempo dal punto di vista dei contenuti. Semplicemente non era più del tutto aggiornato a livello di design. Qualcuno lo ha anche definito affettuosamente antiquato (o old school).
Captain Collector 
Qui sul blog pubblicherò articoli su ogni genere di tema che, in senso lato, riguarda il mondo del fumetto. Chi sono? Mi chiamo Thomas, ma non sono lo Sparkojote: sono suo padre, alias Captain Collector. Leggo e colleziono fumetti dal 1970 e da più di 20 anni lavoro anche attivamente come venditore. In questi anni ho raccolto in 3 negozi di fumetti un'esperienza che oggi posso sfruttare al meglio all'Amazing Comic Shop.
L'alter ego Captain Collector è nato dall'idea di creare una mascotte per l'Amazing Comic Shop. La combinazione di un Captain America con la funzione del collezionista di fumetti, avvolta nell'arancione brillante di Amazing, era praticamente d'obbligo. A un certo punto ha poi preso vita propria e ho iniziato a firmare articoli e testi su Internet come Captain Collector.
Sapevate che anche i supereroi devono pagare le bollette? Ecco perché la maggior parte di loro lavora part-time in un negozio di fumetti.
