“Prices are higher than abroad”
Partly true, and there are reasons for it: international sourcing from Japan, the US and Europe, plus import, customs and VAT, and everything is held in stock in Switzerland (over 100'000 items).
In return, your order is ready to ship immediately, with no customs risk and no weeks of waiting. Many US and Japanese products aren’t officially available in Switzerland at all – we import them directly.
We respect that a price can feel too high to you: every price is shown transparently on the product, and you decide. That has nothing to do with ripping people off, and we factually reject that criticism in our review replies too.
Returns on sealed goods
Switzerland has no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases, and as a rule we don't take back sealed trading card products.
The rule is there to protect you in the end: once a pack has left the AMAZINGTOYS® Store, nobody can credibly sell it on as unopened and untampered with. The big retailers handle it exactly the same way. If you're unsure before buying, ask us, we'll give you honest advice.

Waiting times for buyback
For buyback, we check every collection individually, card by card. That takes time, especially on Saturdays. That's why we work with a number system and tell you the waiting time honestly on site.

Honestly: we're a boutique, not a department store. At busy times, like release days and Saturdays, it gets crowded in here. In return you get advice that actually deserves the name.

Who’s behind AMAZINGTOYS®
AMAZINGTOYS® is a family business that has been in the comic and trading card trade since 2004, founded and run by Thomas Kovacs. What started as a small comic shop back then has become today’s TCG shop, with our own AMAZINGTOYS® Store, our own warehouse and a team whose members collect and play themselves.
Whoever advises you doesn’t know the cards from a catalogue, but from their own collection.

International sourcing, import, customs, VAT and warehousing in Switzerland cost money. In return the goods are available immediately from a Swiss warehouse, with no customs risk. The detailed answer is in the section on the criticisms above.
No. Switzerland has no statutory right of withdrawal, and once sealed goods have been opened or taken away, nobody can credibly sell them as untouched. That protects every buyer, you included. For transport damage and incorrect deliveries, the complete peace-of-mind guarantee applies.
Mystery products are chance-based: the possible contents and pull rates are stated transparently on the respective product page, a guaranteed value does not exist. If you prefer to plan with certainty, go for single cards or sealed products.
Manufacturers allocate only limited quantities to each retailer, and for sought-after sets demand exceeds them many times over. We do not promise restocks that we do not reliably have.
Twint, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and prepayment; at the AMAZINGTOYS® Store in Zurich also cash. Payment is handled by established Swiss payment providers.
