Tekken 5 - PS2 - DE

The mysterious G Corporation launches a large-scale attack with military helicopters and combat cyborgs on the building where Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima were located at the end of the previous game. Kazuya betrays his father and escapes, while Heihachi is presumed killed. The Mishima Zaibatsu, however, continues to operate as usual under an unknown leadership. When the fifth King of the Iron Fist Tournament is announced, both Kazuya and his son Jin enter, each trying to uncover the secret.

Tekken 5 is a versus fighting game that scales back the unusual stage design elements introduced in its immediate predecessor, making it more similar to earlier instalments. Five new characters join the growing roster, and the special modes from previous games return, with the addition of a platformer mode ("Devil Within") and a fighting mini-game in which Jin Kazama appears in his own side story. Also new to the series is the ability to customise characters with coloured outfits, additional costumes and items, which can be purchased and equipped using money earned in battles.
