Wizards and Warriors - NES

Willow is an action RPG based on the film of the same name. The player takes on the role of Willow, the chosen one, who must restore the good sorceress Fin Raziel to human form and destroy the evil sorceress Bavmorda. While the game mostly follows the plot of the film, it also expands on it and introduces characters, races, and enemies that don't appear in the film. The gameplay is similar to other action RPGs and The Legend of Zelda. You see Willow from a bird's eye view and all enemies are visible on the screen. By defeating enemies, Willow gains experience points, which automatically improve his stats. New weapons, shields, and magical items are found in various treasure chests scattered throughout the land, or given to Willow as part of the story. In addition to fighting minor enemies, Willow will also face various boss monsters and characters from the film.
