Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel - GBA

Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition takes the player into the world of Battle City, where a tournament takes place with all kinds of friends and foes. Duel dozens of opponents or take on your friends, just like in the official trading card game!

While in map mode, you have the option to stay where you are and fight anyone in your area who is willing to fight, or to move to an adjacent area. To help you decide what to do, the map shows you the people in your area and the rooms around your area. Depending on what is displayed, you can easily tell whether each person wants to talk to you or fight you. If you haven't fought a person yet, you can't tell who they are before you choose to fight them (except for a small number of people you already know at the start of the game).

Every week, you can receive 5 more cards through a magazine you get. If you want, you can add these to your deck straight away. Otherwise, you can leave them in your case to add later.

Every weekend, you can take part in a tournament if you are in the right place that weekend. If you win tournaments, you can win new cards by opening new (locked) booster card sets, from which you can choose when you win duels.

As you gain more cards and Duellist Points, or simply win a single time against a single opponent, you will also receive further booster packs to choose from when you win duels.

The game also allows duelling with friends via a link cable or trading cards with friends.
