Yoostar 2: In the Movies - boxed - PS3

Yoostar 2: In the Movies is the sequel to the 2009 PC application Yoostar: Be Scene. It is a movie karaoke game in which players can perform 80 famous scenes from films such as 300, The Matrix, The Godfather, Kindergarten Cop, Shaun of the Dead, The Terminator, Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz and many others. The game uses a rotoscoping technique to filter out the original actors and replace them with the player's image. The game requires a camera function via Kinect (Xbox 360) or PlayStation Eye (PS3) to capture the player, with optional support for Move on the PS3.

The player is placed in the scene and must mimic the original movements and speak the text. Players can either perform the scenes directly or improvise their own dialogue. The game scores the player based on mimicking movements and gestures (a silhouette shows where you should stand on screen) as well as the rhythm in which the text is spoken, similar to the SingStar games. In Challenge mode, there are additional objectives when performing the scenes. Clips can be saved and shared on the Yoostar website as well as on Facebook and Twitter. Additional film content is available as DLC.
