Yakuza 4 [Kuro Edition] - Boxed - PS3

Yakuza 4 introduces three new characters to the Yakuza series: Shun Akiyama, Taiga Saejima and Masayoshi Tanimura. Each character has his own story that links in with the overall events, and in combat, each controls similarly to Kiryu, albeit with his own streamlined move set and personal embellishments: Akiyama has several moves involving taunting, Saejima can use his immense strength to lift heavy objects and people, and Tanimura can counter attacks whilst blocking, as well as turn a combo into a HEAT action.

Although the game takes place primarily in the fictional Tokyo district of Kamurocho, the area has been expanded somewhat through newly accessible rooftops, an underground shopping mall and multi-storey car park, as well as a sewage system. As in previous Yakuza games, side missions and mini-games can be found by roaming the streets and entering shops. Hostess clubs and a massage parlour also make a return after not being featured in the western version of Yakuza 3. The only content cut from the western version of Yakuza 4 is the arcade game Answer x Answer and the theme song "Butterfly City".
