Yakuza 3 [Soundtrack Bundle] - Boxed - PS3

Following the events of the series' second game, Kiryu Kazuma, the "Yakuza with a heart of gold", has once again tried to leave the world of organised crime behind. On the remote island of Okinawa, he has set up an orphanage, which he runs together with his adopted daughter Haruka. But it seems that life will never be peaceful for him. Shady politicians are conspiring to take away the land on which his orphanage was built. A man believed dead has miraculously returned from the grave. And once again, Kazuma finds himself in the middle of a battle between organised crime factions. For his third adventure, he must return to Tokyo, to the district of Kamurocho.

The third Yakuza game retains the basic premise of its predecessors: it is an action RPG set in a freely explorable environment. As before, melee combat and the development of Kazuma's abilities through collecting and distributing experience points (divided into spirit, technique and body) form the core of the gameplay. Kazuma can still move freely around the city, go to restaurants, seduce pretty hostesses, and even play old Sega games in arcades. New mini-games have been added, such as playing poker, singing in karaoke bars, and more.

The combat system is similar to the first two games, but with more techniques and refined weapon handling. Kazuma can now equip up to three different weapons at once; he can also repair and craft weapons. At certain points, Kazuma must also chase enemies through the city, manage his stamina, and try not to collide with pedestrians. It is also (finally) possible to freely rotate the camera while Kazuma explores the city.
