XBlaze Code: Embryo - Boxed - PS3

XBlaze Code: Embryo is a visual novel adventure game that tells the story of events that took place about 150 years before the BlazBlue fighting game. The protagonist of the game is Touya Kagari, a tenth grader at Hakou North Academy. One day, he ventures to a place where he shouldn't be and encounters a wounded man who attacks him instead of thanking him for his help and concern. A mysterious girl came to Touya's aid and saved him. Thus began a new chapter in Touya's life, of which he had no idea he was a part.

Unlike most visual novels, which consist of reading with occasional decisions that branch the story, this game features TOi (aka Technology of Interest), which automatically collects articles for Touya, with the player deciding which articles to read and which to neglect. By reading articles, certain events become available that alter the course of the story.
