Description
Playing as Tanner, the player becomes an enforcer for a crime syndicate in order to crack a major case. Along the way, he has to take out rivals, drive getaway cars, scare people off, dodge a horde of cops, evade villains, smash a few shop windows, rescue his sweetheart and much more across four cities (Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York).
The game offers a lot of freedom to navigate the streets of the various cities, letting you drive through alleys or over pavements and parks while smashing benches and driving over traffic cones, and offers a wide selection of vehicles to drive through the various missions, as well as the ability to perform various manoeuvres such as donuts, 180-degree turns or reverse spins.
Various game modes are also included, such as Practice, Carnage (cause as much damage as possible), Dirt Track (time trial), Pursuit (the player chases someone), Survival (four super cops chase the player), Lose the Cop (the player must evade a cop chasing them) and Drive About (simply drive around town and admire the scenery).
There's also a full director mode that lets you place cameras to capture the best moments in the custom replay file.
