Description
Watchmen: The End Is Nigh takes place 10 years before the events of the graphic novel. And shortly before the passing of the Keene Act, which makes costumed vigilantes illegal.
You play as either Rorschach or Nite Owl II. The Watchmen investigate a prison break. The plot thickens as they discover that an old enemy, Underboss, is behind the escape. But in the world of the Watchmen, nothing is as it seems, and there may be more at stake.
The game plays like a brawler, similar to Streets Of Rage. And features a fairly deep combat system. With counters and throws to master, and many moves to unlock. Each playable character has a unique style and moves.
The game is divided into six chapters. It can be played solo, with the AI controlling the other hero. Or in co-op on the same screen.
Jackie Earle Haley and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles as Rorschach and Nite Owl II respectively.
