Description
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the story of Nathan Drake, a modern-day treasure hunter who believes he is a descendant of Sir Francis Drake, the famous English explorer and privateer. After finding his ancestor's coffin and discovering a 400-year-old diary, Nathan and his companions (documentary filmmaker Elena Fisher and his mentor and friend Victor Sullivan) set out to find El Dorado, the legendary city of gold. Along the way, they explore the ruins of a lost Spanish colony and engage in firefights with a horde of pirates who want to plunder El Dorado's riches for themselves.
Gameplay consists of cover-based shooting, fast-paced escape sequences, and death-defying stunts reminiscent of an Indiana Jones film. Players traverse lush island environments, steer jet skis and jeeps through intense firefights, explore underground ruins filled with traps and pitfalls, and uncover the mysterious fate of the original Spanish colonists.
