Description
UFC 2009 Undisputed is a Mixed Martial Arts video game featuring the characteristics and fighters of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As the first MMA title of its generation, UFC 2009 Undisputed offers over 80 fighters across all five different weight classes and over 100 UFC personalities, from UFC's own commentators Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan to ring girls Arianny Celeste and Edith Labelle.
UFC 2009 Undisputed features three striking styles (boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai) and three fighting styles (wrestling, judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu), with each fighter mastering one style from each category. In keeping with the UFC, two fighters face off in the Octagon, employing their chosen striking and fighting styles as well as moves typical for each fighter.
Extending the game's various modes is Exhibition, designed for all players who want to directly step into the role of their favourite fighter. In Classic Fights, some of the most memorable fights are available for the player to relive. If the player ends the fight the way the real fight ended, a video montage is unlocked showing the highlights of that particular fight. Every UFC fan has the freedom to create his own fighter with Create-A-Fighter and potentially build his own career with the option to upload his created fighter to Career.
