Description
UEFA Euro 2008 is another football game from EA Sports. This time, it is basically FIFA 08, modified to let the player experience the European Championship this summer.
Euro 2008 lets you control every European national football team in many different ways. For example, you can create your own character and play as well as possible in your position on the pitch, in order to become good enough to become captain of your team. This is basically a slightly modified version of the "Be a Pro" mode from FIFA 08.
You can also try various challenges and tournament modes to unlock extras or simply test your skills. You can play through the entire championship, including the qualifying stage, or you can skip the group stage. You can also play a very extensive challenge mode in which you try to make your nation the best in European football by completing various challenges against all the other European teams.
As with FIFA 08, the PC and console versions are quite different. This is because they are based on completely different game engines. While the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions come with state-of-the-art graphics and new, improved controls, the PC version basically still looks and plays like the 2006 version.
