Toy Story 2 - Game Boy Color - DE

The Game Boy Color version of Toy Story 2 is a 2D platformer starring Buzz Lightyear. The plot follows the film of the same name, and so Buzz must rescue Woody, who has been stolen from the bedroom by a toy collector. The player runs and jumps through various film-inspired locations such as Andy's house, the city streets, the toy shop and the airport. Buzz can shoot lasers that help him defeat the toys that oppose him in the levels. Surprisingly, Buzz's friends from the film (such as Rex or the three-eyed green aliens) also try to stop him and must be fought in this game. At certain points in the levels, Buzz has access to various special abilities (such as flying or running in the air), which are usually linked to collecting hard-to-reach coins or weapon power-ups.
