Total Immersion Racing is a simulation that focuses on the racing series of the GT / GTS and PRO (Prototype) classes. As these are official racing classes, the game only simulates circuit racing.
The player is presented with an entire racing driver fleet consisting of 14 racing cars from the GT/GTS and Prototype (PRO) classes, which are modelled and detailed according to real prototypes.
A total of 12 racing tracks are available, including Silverstone, Monza, Hockenheim and Talheimring.
Only some of the tracks and cars are available at the beginning of the game; the rest are unlocked by completing multiple races and challenges as the game progresses.
The player can play the game in four different modes: career mode, quick race mode, time trial mode and challenge mode.
In career mode, you must complete a full season, starting with a low-specification GT car. The goal in career mode is to win seasons to get contracts with better car teams and advance through the three classes.
The challenges are uniform race types, which means they are either races of the same model, the same manufacturer country, the same class, etc. When you win a challenge, the next one is unlocked until you have won all 30 available.
