Tony Hawk: Shred [Skateboard Bundle] - boxed - PS3

Tony Hawk: Shred is the eleventh main instalment in the skateboarding series and the successor to Tony Hawk: Ride, which introduced motion controls as the main way to control the skateboard. Alongside skateboarding, Shred introduces a snowboarding element to the series, with slopes, Big Air and a halfpipe. It also adds “Avatar” and “Mii” support for the Xbox 360 and Wii versions respectively. Players use a “skateboard” controller to virtually ride, perform tricks and collect points and bonuses in a physically interactive virtual environment. Players can interact with the environments alone or choose a multiplayer mode. The game ships with an updated skateboard peripheral, but is also available separately and is compatible with the earlier skateboard peripheral from Ride.

The various locations include New Orleans, Morocco, Greece, Hawaii, Melbourne and the fictional Huck Jam Park, and all courses have been turned into downhill events. The three main control modes have been expanded with a fourth, Casual Plus, which is a mix of the on-rails mode and the self-correcting mode, creating a limited path that allows for mistakes. Compared to the previous title, the graphics have been switched to a full cel-shaded design, with the exception of the Wii version, which has a more realistic style.
