Description
Timpo Native American with Peace Pipe at Campfire (Wild West)
Figure: Native American with peace pipe at campfireManufacturer: Timpo Toys
Year: 1970s
Condition: New
Timpo Native American with peace pipe at campfire from the Wild West series by Timpo Toys (approx. 4 cm tall), original from the first half of the 1970s in as-new condition. The figure consists of 7 pluggable individual parts: feather, hair braid, head, necklace, torso, belt, legs. The campfire has 3 parts: fire pit, wood, fire.
Timpos are pluggable toy soldiers made of polyethylene (soft, flexible plastic) by the company Timpo Toys from the 1960s and 1970s. The figures are approx. 5 cm tall and consist of several pluggable individual parts that can be combined and re-plugged with one another. Thanks to the overmoulding process developed in England in the early 1960s, painting the figures became unnecessary. The individual parts were cast from plastic granulate of different colours, layered on top of one another, which creates a lifelike level of detail. Timpos are old collectible figures, and are nevertheless usually relatively affordable.
