Description
Timpo Floss with 2 Cowboys (Wild West)
Figure: Cowboys on flossManufacturer: Timpo Toys
Year: 1970s
Condition: New
Timpo Floss with 2 Cowboys from the Wild West series by Timpo Toys (the figures are approx. 5 cm tall), original from the first half of the 1970s in near-mint condition. The figures can be disassembled and combined freely with one another. These are cowboys from the so-called 3rd generation with small neck scarves and removable gun belts.
Timpos are plug-together toy soldiers made of polyethylene (soft, flexible plastic) by the company Timpo Toys from the 1960s and 1970s. The figures are approx. 5 cm tall and consist of several plug-together individual parts that can be combined and rearranged with one another. Thanks to the overmoulding process developed in England in the early 1960s, painting the figures became unnecessary. The individual parts were moulded from plastic granulate of different colours on top of one another, creating plastic detail accuracy. Timpos are old collectible figures, yet are usually relatively inexpensive to obtain.
