Figures: 2 Indians with tomahawk and rifle
Manufacturer: Timpo Toys

Condition: New

2 Timpo Indians with tomahawk and rifle from the Wild West series by Timpo Toys (approx. 5cm tall). These are 2 original figures from the second half of the 1960s in near-mint condition. The figures consist of 8 pluggable individual parts: feather, hair braid, head, necklace, torso, belt, legs, base plate. These are 2 figures from the older Timpo generation of Indians. The weapons are moulded onto the torso and cannot be removed. The base plates are the older version without ground relief. The figures of this Timpo generation have their own very special charm and are compatible with the later figures. The two Indians can be taken apart and reassembled in any combination.

Timpos are pluggable toy soldiers made of polyethylene (a soft, flexible plastic) by the company Timpo Toys from the 1960s and 1970s. The figures are approx. 5cm tall and consist of several pluggable individual parts that can be combined and reassembled with one another. The overmoulding process, developed in England in the early 1960s, made painting the figures unnecessary. The individual parts were cast from plastic granulate of different colours, one on top of the other, resulting in lifelike detail. Timpos are old collectible figures, yet still relatively affordable in most cases.
