Figures: 2 Native Americans with Bow and Rifle
Manufacturer: Timpo Toys
Year: 1970s
Condition: New

2 Timpo Native Americans with Bow and Rifle from the Wild West series by Timpo Toys (approx. 5cm tall). These are 2 original figures from the first half of the 1970s in as-new condition. The figures consist of 6 interlocking parts: head, necklace, torso, belt, legs, base stand. The heads of the figures are cast in one piece in 3 colours, a special feature of the last generation of Timpo figures. The two figures can be taken apart and reassembled in any combination.

Timpos are interlocking toy soldiers made of polyethylene (a soft, flexible plastic) from the company Timpo Toys from the 1960s and 1970s. The figures are approx. 5cm tall and consist of several interlocking parts that can be combined and swapped between each other. Thanks to the Overmoulding process developed in England in the early 1960s, painting the figures became unnecessary. The individual parts were cast from differently coloured plastic granules on top of each other, creating a sculpted level of detail. Timpos are old collectible figures, yet still mostly available at relatively affordable prices.
