Description
The Simpsons: Hit & Run is best described as Grand Theft Auto in Springfield.
The player takes on the role of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa or Apu and tries to uncover a mystery involving mechanical bees taking over Springfield, mysterious delivery trucks and cola that can control the minds of those who drink it.
Like GTA, the game follows a linear path through more than fifty missions. The player must chase cars and find out where they're going, catch all overflowing cola cans before people can drink them, and chase villains before they escape.
Throughout the game, the player can unlock a lot of rewards by completing missions within a certain timeframe or performing outstanding stunts.
All voice acting is performed by the actors from the series, including Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge) and Yeardley Smith (Lisa).
The game supports multiplayer action for up to four players.
