Description
Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends is a racing game based on a scaled-down version of the SHIFT 2 Unleashed engine from the same development team. Players can take to the track with every single Ferrari model ever made. The main campaign is divided into 3 eras: the Golden Era (1947 to 1973), the Silver Era (1974 to 1990) and the Modern Era (1991 to 2011). The player can switch between eras at will, but can only progress within an era once the current mission has been completed. Missions include beating lap times over a certain number of laps, moving up a certain number of positions with two laps remaining in a race, or trying to maintain the gap to another car for a certain number of laps. All missions are loosely connected by a storyline.
There are over fifty Ferrari models to unlock and 36 real-life classic race tracks. In addition to the campaign mode, the game offers a free play mode in which any unlocked car can be driven, as well as an online mode for up to eight players in a single race.
