Description
This is the sixth instalment in the long-running fighting game series. After winning the previous King of Iron Fist Tournament and taking control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Jin Kazama turns into a tyrant, transforming the Mishima Zaibatsu into a superpower, severing all ties with other nations and going to war against them. To end this war, Lars Alexandersson, a soldier of the Tekken Force, starts a rebellion and brings about the downfall of the Mishima Zaibatsu.
The gameplay of Tekken 6 is similar to that of previous Tekken games. At the start, the player selects the character they will use throughout the King of Iron Fist Tournament. In each round of the tournament, the first player to achieve two K.O.s is declared the winner, with the number of K.O.s able to be increased to five. If neither player has won by the time the round timer reaches zero, whoever has the most health remaining is declared the winner. Tekken 6 offers gameplay improvements such as enhanced character customisation and a new feature called "Rage", which increases the damage a player can deal once their health drops below a certain point. There are also six new playable characters.
The multiplayer mode offers standard matches that can be played online via Xbox LIVE and PSN.
