Description
Superman 1977 #12
Comic: Superman 1977 #12Language: German
Publisher: Ehapa Comics
Year: 4 June 1977
Condition: 2-3 (Two to three) Good to fair
Superman 1977 #12 brings classic comics with Batman and Superman. The booklet is in a used condition, however the insert (poster) is very well preserved, in condition 1.
Superman was published by Ehapa Verlag between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid backbone of German-language DC comics today. (An equivalent for Marvel Comics in the 1970s was Williams Verlag.) The Superman booklets featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. In terms of superheroes, these booklets held roughly the same status at Ehapa Verlag as Mickey Mouse did for the Funnies. Because of the very thin paper, which is very prone to creasing, exceptionally well-preserved copies are highly sought-after collector's items.
