Description
Superman 1978 #8
Comic: Superman 1978 #8Language: German
Publisher: Ehapa Comics
Year: 5 April 1978
Condition: 1-2 (One to two) Fine
Superman 1978 #8 features exciting stories about DC's famous superhero. The issue is in a very nice, almost mint condition, unfortunately the collector's stamp is missing. That's why it's only condition 1-2.
Superman was published by Ehapa Verlag between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid backbone of DC comics in German today. (An equivalent at Marvel Comics in the 1970s was Williams Verlag.) The Superman issues featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. At Ehapa Verlag, these issues held roughly the same status among superheroes as Mickey Mouse did among funnies. Due to the very thin paper that is highly susceptible to creases, very nicely preserved copies are sought-after collector's items.
