Summer Challenge: Athletics Tournament - Boxed - PS3

Summer Challenge: Athletics Tournament is a collection of sporting events based on the Summer Olympics. It includes 20 sports divided into eight disciplines: running, throwing, diving, jumping, swimming, archery, trampoline and foil fencing. The controls are similar across all of them: rhythmic movements to keep the athlete going, and quick-time events (pressing a button when it appears on screen) to perform specific actions. Naturally, there are certain variations depending on the discipline, e.g. trampoline and foil fencing rely purely on quick-time events, while the endurance disciplines require similar stamina from the player. In archery, it all comes down to the player's ability to aim and judge the influence of the wind; in throwing, it's about rhythm and the correct angle.

The game features a simple career mode in which the player receives a fixed number of experience points after each competition, which can be invested in improved stats (head, arms, legs and body). Certain challenges must be completed to unlock further disciplines.
