Description
Sports Champions 2 is the sequel to Sports Champions, which requires the PlayStation Move peripheral, and offers six new sports you can compete in. In the game you can create your character, take a photo and record a short voice clip that plays when your character wins or it's their turn. The main championship mode focuses on single-player mode, in which you pick a single sport and face various opponents and trials to win. The sports can be played with one or two Move sticks, with two sticks increasing realism, but two-player games require four Move sticks to play in co-op or versus mode. Most sports offer several different courses, day/night variations and a split screen for two players or solo competitions.

New events are:* Archery – the goal of this event is to shoot moving targets to score more points than your opponent, and some of the moving targets are bogies that subtract from your score instead of adding to it
  • Bowling – you can move your character before swinging and throwing the bowling ball. You have three chances to knock down all the pins

  • Boxing – in first-person view you compete against a CPU or player opponent. When playing with a single Move stick, most kicks are performed by pressing buttons instead of relying on two Move sticks to simulate your hands in a match.

  • Golf – turn-based sports event in which you can adjust the swing side and power. You can also practise your swing before deciding to hit the ball.

  • Skiing – you can use your Move stick to pump and gain speed, move left or right, crouch for higher speed or perform acrobatic stunts while jumping off snow ramps.

  • Tennis – offers the chance to compete in singles against the CPU or another player, or team up in two-player co-op mode. You can also choose the length of the match.
