Description
SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge is a 3D action-adventure game based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. Plankton finds a pile of batteries that were thrown into the sea from a cargo ship, and sees an opportunity to use these batteries to steal the secret Krabby Patty formula. Shortly afterwards, he turns up at the Krusty Krab in his giant robot and makes off with the safe containing the formula. It's up to you to stop him, fight your way through his robot army and find three keys to get the formula back. The game features several upgradeable weapons. The playable characters are: SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy and Mr. Krabs. The locations shown in the game are Bikini Bottom, Rock Bottom and Dutchman's Triangle.
The 3DS versions are single-player games, while the console versions offer co-op gameplay for up to four players. The Wii U version supports up to five players, with one using the Game Pad and the others using standard controllers. Another version was released for Nintendo DS.
