Description
In the battle between Sparta and Rome, you take on the role of a Spartan warrior and go into battle for your freedom. In each mission, you must achieve smaller objectives, such as killing the enemy's generals, escorting sappers to blow up enemy siege weapons, and preventing the enemy from breaching your borders. The plot is driven forward through cutscenes between missions.
Depending on your success in the mission, you receive "tokens", which you can use to improve your character's health, damage or strength. The player is able to perform special moves that can be learned as the game progresses. Some of the special moves draw their power from the Spartan gods, who help the player in their fight. Throughout the game, you can find various weapons such as swords, bows and spears, and of course shields.
