Sonic Colours - Nintendo DS - DE

Dr. Eggman wants to change his ways and opens a huge new amusement park that strangely floats above the planet. Sonic, distrusting his arch-nemesis, visits the amusement park and discovers the true evil: the park exists thanks to an alien species, the Wisps, powerful creatures that Dr. Eggman has kidnapped. Sonic agrees to free them from the amusement park, but without the help of the Wisps, he won't be able to do it. In a return to Sonic's classic platformers of old, Sonic Colors utilises the full width of both Nintendo DS screens to present a 2D side-scrolling adventure of colourful proportions. Sonic has the help of the unique abilities of the Wisps, such as boring deep into the earth or shooting high into the air, to help him in his quest for the Chaos Emeralds and stop Dr. Eggman's dangerous plan. Sonic has access to six Wisps, but their effect only lasts for a limited time. Four of them, White, Blue, Yellow and Orange, resemble the Wisps from the big brother Sonic Colors for the Nintendo Wii. Two additional Wisps, Red (which turns Sonic into a deadly fireball) and Violet (which lets Sonic hover in the air and suck up nearby rings and items), are exclusive to the DS platform. There is a multiplayer mode in which two players race against each other in several levels to reach the goal first, as well as a time attack mode.
