Description
SingStar: Guitar is a karaoke game that offers the ability to play a plastic guitar along to the melody. The karaoke component doesn't change the formula: the player(s) sing into a microphone and the game awards points for the performance. The only basis for scoring is whether the right note is hit with the right timing; the lyrics sung or the octave don't matter.
The guitar component works similarly to the Guitar Hero series: the game shows which buttons the player should press on the guitar. Depending on whether the correct button is pressed with the right timing, points are awarded.
