Description
Description Another game from Nintendo designed to train your brain. This game trains your eyes – your ability to concentrate. There are 5 areas in which abilities are trained:* Dynamic Visual Acuity (DVA) – The ability to see moving objects clearly. Instantaneous Vision – The ability to take in several pieces of information at once. Eye Movement – The ability to move your eyes quickly and precisely. Peripheral Vision – The ability to see across a wide area. Hand-Eye Coordination (HEC) – The ability to recognise and react quickly and accurately. Once you’ve done an eye age check, the game recommends special training to help you. Your progress and your age are recorded by the game, so you can view your eye age status... are you getting older or younger? The game has a calendar that lets you track when you’ve used the game, by earning stamps when you complete a certain number of games on a given day. Once you’ve collected a certain number of stamps, further activities are unlocked for you to play. Here are some of the activities included in the game:Symbol Sequence*: Three symbols flash on the screen in one of 12 fields. Each symbol appears for only a fraction of a second. The challenge is to memorise each symbol and then enter all three symbols in the order in which they appeared. Box Tap: Tap wildly on a series of moving red boxes before they disappear. The more you successfully tap, the higher your score. Number Flash: In this activity, numbers flash very briefly on the top screen. You then have to select the correct number. The harder the task becomes, the longer the number sequence gets. Box Track: A circle is placed in one of three boxes. The challenge is to follow the box containing the circle as the three boxes shift rapidly on the screen. You then have to tap the box with the circle in it. Circle Spot: Symbols appear for a fraction of a second in 12 boxes arranged on the touch screen. You have to tap the single circle among the symbols. Letter Count: Quickly memorise the target letter and then count how often it appears as a fast sequence of letters moves across the screen. Quick Match: Quickly look at the two symbols that flash on the screen, then decide whether they match by tapping the touch screen. Baseball: Tap the ball on the touch screen as the pitch crosses the plate to get a hit. With every hit, the field gets bigger, making it harder to hit the blazing pitch. Boxing: Punch the boxing glove by tapping the centre of the target before the sparring partner lowers it. You get bonus points for a clean punch to the centre of the glove with perfect accuracy. Table Tennis: Move the stylus across the screen to return the ball to your opponent. Less
