Description
Seven Samurai 20XX is a 3D third-person action game inspired by the greatest samurai story of all time: Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. To pay tribute to the masterpiece, the game was developed in collaboration with Kurosawa Production and the son of the late director, Hisao. Key contributions were also made by world-renowned artists such as legendary artist/designer Moebius and Academy Award®-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Seven Samurai 20XX captivates players with an experience that combines intense samurai close-combat fighting with an epic story that carries the timeless tale of the classic into the future. The player takes on the role of young samurai Natoe to fight against an army of mechanical beasts and ultimately recruit six warriors to help him defend humanity's last city. Armed with a variety of sword fighting styles, Natoe unleashes numerous single and double-katana attacks and has an arsenal of moves that grows with the mastery of samurai techniques.
