Description
In this sequel to Saw, Michael Tapp, the son of Detective David Tapp from the first game and the films, is kidnapped outside his father's apartment and challenged to play one of Jigsaw's games.
The game itself is played from a mix of third-person and first-person perspective, as Michael moves through Jigsaw's labyrinth and interacts with it. Many of the other challenges are covered through quick-time events, from dodging traps to fighting other captured participants.
Throughout the game, Michael must escape from a series of gnarled, infested buildings and their deadly inhabitants, and is tasked with solving terrible puzzles. He is also confronted with his father's obsession with Jigsaw and decisions about life and death.
